Dive In with a Dolphin Researcher

Join the South Carolina Aquarium and the Museum of York County for a virtual Teen Science Café! Dive in with South Carolina Aquarium educator and dolphin researcher, Meghan Galipeau, as she teaches you all about one of Charleston’s favorite residents, the bottlenose dolphin.
The Aquarium and the Museum of York County are hosting free virtual Teen Science Cafés once a month.
Meet the Presenter:
Meghan Galipeau is an educator and researcher at the South Carolina Aquarium. Meghan grew up in New York State and wanted to work with dolphins from a very young age. She pursued a Bachelor’s of Science in biology from the State University of New York at Geneseo. After college, Meghan became a trainer at Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder in Key Largo, Florida, where she worked for several years with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Meghan then pursued a Master’s of Science in biological sciences from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida and worked with the Wild Dolphin Project for her master’s research.
