Awesome opportunity by donorschoose, khan academy and code.org for high school teachers and their students. http://bit.ly/1yBj06G
High school teachers have students work through an online 15 hour programming course and for every underrepresented student who completes the program, they earn $100 in credit toward another project developed by the teacher. The courses that code.org and khan academy have created are very easy for students to work through, without a lot of external support. This provides teachers and students with a significant amount of funding for another project and gets kids a taste of coding. Win win!!

Ann – Thanks for sharing. This is an awesome opportunity for any teacher to get funding for their projects. Or for each of the adult leaders to motivate their teens to help keep their cafe alive. I will share it with my adult leaders and local teachers.
